Who we are

Extreme Temp Solutions Inc. (“ETS”, “we”) is a Toronto, Ontario supplier of high-temperature and electrical insulation tape. This policy explains what personal information we collect through extremetemp.ca and how we handle it, in line with Canada’s PIPEDA and CASL.

What we collect

When you send a quote request we collect the details you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, the product you are interested in, estimated quantity and any message. If you email or call us we keep the contact details and the content of that conversation.

We may also collect basic usage data about how the site is used (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location) through analytics, described below.

How we use it

• To reply to your request and prepare quotes, datasheets and samples.
• To manage the business relationship with you or your company.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information. We send commercial messages only where you have asked for them or where Canadian law otherwise permits, and every such message will identify us and include a way to unsubscribe.

Analytics and cookies

We may use Google Analytics to measure site traffic. It uses cookies and collects usage data as described above. We ask Google to anonymize IP addresses, and we do not load analytics when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our web hosting and email providers, and our tape manufacturers or freight and customs partners when needed to fulfil an order or request. We may also disclose information where required by law. Some providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, for the business relationship, or to meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it (subject to legal or contractual limits). Email sales@extremetemp.ca and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows the latest version.
